Your Right to Eat German Food: ACLU Chapter Chairwoman Denied Service at German Restaurant, Sues

 

Carol Weintraub, Chair of the ACLU Chapter in San Francisco, was denied service at Schroeder’s, a noted German-American restaurant, which did not admit women for lunch.

The ACLU of Northern California on this day announced that it would sue to end the discrimination against women.
